2025, we made it another trip around the sun which means a yearly reset. While most folks make “resolutions” I think setting goals is a far better way to go. Resolutions are made to say “I Want To” “I Might” and they sound great until 1 month in we are all over the place making excuses and going back to old habits. Goals on the other hand are measurable, attainable, and can be tweaked if things begin to shift. When I set goals I tend to pull from three areas of my life, Work – Personal – and Play. Think of it like a trinity encompassing all the major areas of your life.

Below are a few tips for goal setting in 2025.
- Make your goals realistic.
Pick a goal that is challenging but attainable, whether it is losing weight or
taking a class, set a mark that is realistic. - Measure the progress on your goals.
Set an end date and continually track your progress - Make your goals fun.
No matter what goals you set, make sure you enjoy doing it, even if it is
something out of your comfort zone. The more you enjoy it, the better your chances are are crossing the finish line. - Keep it simple.
If your just beginning your goal setting journey, keep it simple by pick 3 or 4 goals for the year.
Below are my goals for 2025:

- Be more outgoing (Strike up conversations and network) (Work/Personal)
